Acupuncture

Meet Daisy
Hi, I'm Daisy. I am a fully licensed acupuncturist who graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) degree from the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. My training combined both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element styles of acupuncture, providing me with a powerful formula for identifying and addressing both physical and emotional imbalances. I am passionate about getting to the root of the issue and restoring your health with elegant and effective treatment.
My Specialisations
In the clinic, I see and treat a vast array of conditions. Many people come for acupuncture for a musculoskeletal issue or injury and stay on as patients because of the other positive effects on their physical and emotional wellbeing. In my experience, acupuncture is so powerful because it treats the person, not the disease, and this is why its effects are so far-reaching. Although I treat most things, I have a particular interest in...
Women's Health... Problem periods (e.g. irregular, painful) UTIs and interstitial cystitis Menopause Fertility support
Chronic Conditions... Chronic fatigue Long-Covid Headaches/ migraines Fibromyalgia Arthritis and more...
Other conditions commonly seen in clinic are...
Mental Health... Anxiety Low mood Poor sleep Trauma Addiction

Digestive Disorders... IBS Ulcerative colitis Acid reflux

Musculoskeletal Complaints... Chronic pain Back, shoulder, knee, elbow Plantar fasciitis Sciatica Injuries
Treatments
While changes can be experienced right away, it is recommended to commit to around 5 to 6 sessions. This provides a beneficial amount of time for the treatments and allows your body to return to its natural flow.
Acupuncture
What to expect

In your first session, we will discuss your main concern(s), as well as your general health and lifestyle. I will ask about your symptoms and medical history. While some questions may seem unrelated to your current issue, the answers you provide help me gain a more comprehensive understanding of your health. As a result, you may notice improvement in several areas, not just the primary issue you're seeking treatment for. I will also look at your tongue and feel your pulse, as these also provide me with diagnostic information.
You will receive a treatment during your first visit, and I will cultivate a plan for follow-up treatments. Feedback and progress will be gathered before each subsequent treatment to allow for any adjustments.
During our sessions, I may also use adjunctive modalities such as moxibustion, guasha or electro-acupuncture. These are included in the price of treatment.
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
What is facial enhancement acupuncture?

Facial enhancement/ cosmetic acupuncture uses ultra-fine needles placed at key points on the face to naturally rejuvenate the skin. By improving blood flow and stimulating collagen and elastin production, this treatment helps your skin look fresher, firmer, and more youthful.
Key benefits include:
-
Smoothing fine lines and wrinkles
-
Brightening and evening out skin tone
-
Enhancing skin elasticity
-
Tackling other signs of aging
What to expect
In your first session, I will ask you questions about your overall health, as well as your aesthetic concerns and goals. Based on this information, I will choose both facial and body points that best suit your needs. Facial acupuncture involves a lot more needles than a traditional treatment, but most of them are intra-dermal so they are very small. I will check in with you throughout to ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed.
